Spacegass member fixities
WebMember connections are made using member fixities, the fixities are related to the LOCAL axis of the member. Normally the fixity is added only to one of the joining members. In the case of say a column with a number of members joining into the column, A normal web site WebMember properties include member type, connectivity, orientation, fixity, section properties, material properties and member offsets. Hence, selecting the graphical option for "Members", "Section properties", "Material properties" or "Member offsets" will all take you to the same member properties form.

WebMember Fixity Conditions For lateral members the assigned fixity of beam and columns are used in the analysis. If a structural instability occurs during the analysis, due to the fixity conditions of one or more lateral members, the user will need to modify the member's fixity in either RAM Modeler or in RAM Frame. WebYou will learn about the different tools and features in SPACEGASS, how to specify different support conditions and end member restraint conditions, how to draw nodes and members, assign different sections/materials to a member (for a specific code/country), How to use different tools such as “subdivide” a member, “Copy” and “filter” as well as …

There are also videos that explain the basics of member entry but I assume you already know how to do this if you’re a regular SpaceGass user and a qualified engineer (or in training).
WebMember end fixities should not be confused with node restraints. Member end fixities specify how members are connected to their end nodes, while node restraints specify how nodes are connected to the footings or other supports. Note that completely rigid frame members should have member end fixities of "FFFFFF"
