Hikvision can't upgrade firmware
WebI have a Hikvision DS-2CD2346G2 (AcuSense with Strobe + Alarm model) camera connected to a Hikvision NVR. In light of the recent vulnerability detected and subsequent firmware updated released, I'm trying to update the firmware. The system was recently installed and I've never done a firmware upgrade before. WebJul 31, 2024 · The best I can tell is that Hikvision does the full firmware development for almost all their OEMs and that they may leave something our or change the GUI, etc., but it's up to Hikvision (as it would be for Dahua for their OEMs) to do that development typically.
