Not everyone will travel by Metro but our trains will be very busy. This year the run returns to the usual route. The start will be in Newcastle and the run will end in South Shields. The race will not be finishing in South Shields for the first time this year, and will instead double back to cross the Tyne Bridge for a second time and finish on the Town Moor in Newcastle.
